Hawkwood’s High Performance V-Lok batteries have been designed alongside leading cell technology to meet the demand of the industries “power hungry” cameras and LED lighting, making light work of powering applications up to 150Wh.

With recent developments in Lithium-Ion technology we’re are able to introduce this new cell into our V-Lok family and the Broadcast/Film industry for the first time. These individual cells offer extremely low resistance which enables the delivery of high currents of up to a continuous 15amps from a single cell!

The high performance batteries are suitable for use with a vast range of video/film cameras and rigs but now can be extended for use on high-drain film cameras like Arri’s Alexa XT and Phantoms Flex 4K both when loaded are capable of drawing 200wh from a single battery! The new range will also provide a lightweight solution for today’s lighting industry with many high-powered LED lights becoming more widely used.

All of this is made possible due to our uprated contacts being used in conjunction with two extra high performance contacts which are used to share the high currents that may be being drawn from the new cell.
